I am a passionate workplace ecosystem engineer. “Wait a minute,” you are thinking. “I thought I read ‘Operations’ in her headline.” That is in fact what I do according to conventional keywords. But somehow designing and implementing efficient processes across Operations — onboarding, engagement, talent development, employer branding, and coaching and mentoring (among many other activities) —is much more about transforming workplaces into ecosystems than about mere “operations.” After all, “work” is where people spend most of their waking hours contributing value to their companies while developing professionally. This is what I love most about my career 16+-year career in HR and operations: making human resources more “human” and one of the pillars that supports individuals and organizations as they strive to reach their potential. In my former role as Operations Director one of my main contributions has been launching a comprehensive HR strategy and employer branding initiative that together made Haufe-Umantis “the” company to work for.
