Responsible for developing/executing capital projects in the Gulf Coast Region, based out of NuStar’s headquarters office in San Antonio. Reports to Manager of Project Engineering. Develops, designs, performs cost estimation and prepares/submits AFE’s for capital projects. Prepares specifications and procures materials and equipment. Selects and oversees contractors and contract personnel for engineering, design and installation of capital projects. Performs cost and scheduling tracking and status reporting for assigned projects. Manages multiple projects simultaneously within a budget and schedule. Ensures that all work is performed according to appropriate Industry guidelines/regulations.Managed multiple capital projects including construction of new unit train facilities, new storage tanks, tank retrofit/repairs, dock work, and terminal piping.
