About Sylvia Devlin M.S. Rt, Ciip, Fsiim

I have over 30 years of experience in Radiology. Modalities include Diagnostic, Mammography and Angiography. My experience then lead me to work in Medical Health Physics where I worked very closely with the physicists in the Radiology Quality Control program for Geisinger Health System in Pennsylvania. I worked as a help desk Analyst for 2 years at Kaiser Permanente in California as well as a RIS/PACS Application Specialist with Inland Imaging Arizona for 1 year. I then worked in Oklahoma City at Healthcare Partners Investments as a PACS Administrator. My work included HIS/RIS interfacing, working with HL7 messaging, building and modifiying HIS and RIS exam and equipment dictionaries, Philips and McKesson PACS, SpeechQ VR, DICOM as well as staff and physician training. I also worked with the EHR Rollout team in emplementing Allscripts EHR to the various physician offices. Subsequently, I worked at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore MD supporting the McKesson Cardiology and Radiology PACS and assisted with the Medstar Medconnect project team assisting with CPOE. I transitioned to an Information System role working as an Application Analyst III, overseeing the enterprise image viewer which subsequently led to becoming a member of the Enterprise Radiology Solution team working as an Clinical Application Analyst IV and subsequently as Manager for Imaging Informatics Administrators for MedStar Medical Group Radiology. Currently, I am the IT Manager for Radiology Clinical Operations and the eRadiology Center at Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore Maryland.Specialties: HL7, HIS, RIS, PACS, VR, DICOM
