I had aspirations to be an inspirational high school math teacher - Jaime Escalante, portrayed in Stand and Deliver, was my hero. Becoming a teacher was the whole reason why I earned a degree in mathematics. Even though I did not find myself in a classroom for long, I'm proud to say that my math degree and passion for leading did not go to waste. With these skills I'm able to use a logical approach to problem solving and I transferred my desire to mentor young students into a love for helping my colleagues and teammates develop their talents. I use an empathetic approach to problem solving and process improvement with the goal of helping teams increase their productivity and efficiency. I love taking a holistic look at team operations and providing simple solutions to help make them run smoothly. I have demonstrated experience in a wide range of disciplines including: operations, process improvement, system administration, team management, ed-tech, and online education. I'm accustomed to working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and wearing multiple hats. I have a passion for creativity, impeccable attention to detail, and desire to be a lifelong learner.
