Assisi Hospice provides palliative care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, caring for them and their families regardless of faith, age, race and financial position. It is the only hospice in Singapore providing the whole continuum of inpatient, day care and home care services. I served as a Member of the Board and Chairman of the HR Committee, whose role was to advise on HR matters, and help to develop the strategic elements of HR, bringing them in line with modern day practices.

It is a Singapore registered charity providing rehabilitation to ex-offender, helping them to rebuild their lives through counselling and empowerment; and healing programmes to abused teenage girls at its Residential Treatment Centre, DaySpring.

Serves as a Director on the Board which oversees the governance and operation of the National University Hospital, National University of Singapore's Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry to create synergies to advance its tripartite mission of excellence in clinical care, translational clinical research and education. JurongHealth is the new public healthcare cluster formed to facilitate the integration of services and care processes within the hospital and across the community, so as to better serve the healthcare needs in the western part of Singapore. We will do this in collaboration with community partners including primary care providers such as General Practitioners and polyclinics, hospitals, long term care providers and voluntary welfare organisations.From August 2010, JurongHealth will manage Alexandra Hospital where it will build and grow its base while planning for its future Ng Teng Fong General Hospital in the West.

Its current focus is to help to rebuild lives of survivors of human trafficking in Cambodia. It raises funds to support the mental healthcare programme at AFESIP and manages Kumnit Thmey, a social enterprise in Phnom Penh. Kumnit Thmey provides employment to seven survivors, personal development. Its primary objective is social impact, and then profitability.
