As a subject matter expert (SME) on Mexico's drug war, I provide customized risk/threat assessments to agencies, companies, and individuals with interests in Mexico. I also routinely conduct training courses (from one hour to a full day) for law enforcement agencies, military units, and industry experts who wish to learn more about the threats potentially posed to them and US national security by Mexican cartels. I serve as an expert witness for US immigration cases involving Mexican nationals requesting asylum, withholding, cancellation of removal, or CAT protection. I often provide interviews (live and recorded) to media in all forms and at all levels as a SME. I'm an ASBPE Award-winning correspondent for Homeland Security Today magazine, and write monthly for their Correspondents Watch department.
