In April of 2024, the CDFI Fund announced the award of $1.73 billion to 604 CDFIs to expand lending and grant-making to underserved communities, the largest program round ever rolled out by the CDFI Fund. I have now designed and am implementing the technical assistance project to support the recipients in their successful implementation of their CDFI ERP awards. I joined the Department of Treasury's CDFI Fund to stand up the $1.75 billion Equitable Recovery Program. My roles have focused on designing, conducting and analyzing research; program and policy development; and program implementation and monitoring.As a committed community economic development professional, I have a strong track record in policy and program development for the strategic mitigation of economic impacts. Throughout my career I have collaborated in a diverse set of programs at local, national and international levels in assessment, design, development, implementation, technical assistance, evaluation and management. I've cultivated relationships with community stakeholders, non-profit organizations, federal agencies, non-governmental organizations, local governments, and institutions of higher education. My fields of work have included economic development; community development; workforce development; business development; financial literacy; communication and social marketing; and training.
