Freelance filmmaker with an MFA degree in Visual and Media Arts, graduated from Emerson College in Boston. An award-winning screenwriter, a motivated creator, a thoughtful doer and a fast learner who has professional production skills, administration working experience and also international film industry background. With three years of being an industrial screenwriter working for China Central Television network and major production companies in Beijing, I had considerable experience of producing and creating TV series, animations, comedies, commercials as well as feature films. I had two feature films produced by China Central Television. Both of them are awarded as “best screenplay” by State Administration of Radio, Film and Television nationally. One year of working in Film Bureau of State Administration of Radio, Film and Television in China as a project consultant and seminar coordinator. I acquired strong skills of script analysis/editing and administrative works such like scheduling meetings, booking locations, food and accommodations for attendances, interacting with celebrities and keynote speakers as well as assisting executive managers. Working in the industry helped me to establish great connection with senior filmmakers and front-line production/distribution in China.After three years of producing short films in New England area, I am proficient in the whole process of production. My goal is to pursue high-quality production in limited budget as well as reach wider audiences. I am currently working in APB speakers as production and international sales intern, and also am working for JRP New England and Open Calls as production intern and teaching assistant.
