Sylvia Yazid is an Associate Professor in the Department of International Relations, Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR). Yazid is also currently the Head of Office for International Affairs and Cooperation (OIAC) of UNPAR. Prior to her current position as the Head of OIAC, Yazid had the opportunity to serve the Department of IR for 4 years as the Head of Department. Yazid has demonstrated history of research and capacity building experience in migration, particularly labour migration, both as researcher and team leader. The past few years she has also expanded her academic and research works to include issues such as human rights and democratization.
