Under the supervision of the VP Business Development, reach of companies that could become potential partners, prepare/perform presentations and prepare/coordinate request for quote (RFQ) and request for proposal (RFP), which include;- Redaction of the technical proposal for Acciona Infrastructure Canada- Follow directions as specified in the RFQ, request for Information (ROI) and RFP and ensure compliance with the request. - Coordination of the proposal within the construction partners, the designer, the financial and the technical writer, - Guide proposal content through the appropriate review cycles prior to submission, select and review final proposal.- Scheduling bid submission packages to meet deadlines- Projects involved in: RFQ St. Lawrence bridge (AFP), Montreal (QC), 4,2B$ RFP Centre Multifonctionnel, Gatineau (QC), 70M$ RFQ North Commuter Parkway & Traffic Bridge (AFP), Saskatoon (SK), 250M$ RFQ Combined Sewage Storage Tunnel, Ottawa (ON), 190M$Pursue projects opportunities, maintain a database of proposal related information and produce business development strategy. Provide monthly overviews of proposal bids and awards to date.Perform Acciona-Parkway Infrastructure Constructors monthly cost reports with Acciona internal software. Analyze and identify all cost deviations and the reasons

The Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway project (2011 to 2015) is a Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) project of $1.4 billion. Responsible of the construction of several reinforced concrete structures for a value of over 50M$ :- Construction of five precast concrete girders tunnels (120m to 240m) and one post-tension bridge of 150m- Construction of 20m x 120m culvert, including water and traffic management - Construction/installation and carry out of girders testing for PIC and MTO- Construction/Extension of precast yard facilities - Demolition of 2 bridges TASK :- Provide technical assistance on site and coordination of the work with the design team- Ensure quality assurance practice are being met through daily construction work inspection according to applicable standards and practice and non compliance. - Documents review in conformance to the standards and/or contract as shop drawings - Writing of scope of works - Ensure compliance of the work with the OH&S - Maintain and manage plans, specifications, subcontract and related reports- Coordination with internal departments, subcontractors and superintendents - Scheduling thework and procurement to comply with milestone. Identify the work critical path, monitor and initiate updates to construction work schedule and report construction progress. Assistance to subcontractor to improve production - Preparation of request for proposal for subcontracts and subcontracts review.- Estimation/Budget during the tender of offer for the tunnels and bridges - Monthly payment certificates of the subcontractors. Quantities takeoff, negotiation with subcontractors, change orders, extras and deduction review. Expedite progress payment certificates, final payment certificates and all extra work orders as per contract- Coordination/Communication of the work with stakeholders as municipalities, environmental agency, utilities companies and general public “open house”.

The A30 project is a PPP project and represents an investment of $1.5B. NA30 CJV was mandated for the design build, which includes Acciona Infrastrusture Canada (40%), Dragados Canada (40%), Aecon (16%) and Verreault (4%) and Arup as designer. The construction of the Beauharnois Bridge (2009 to 2012) represents an investment of over $300M and has a span of 2.5 km, with a central vertical clearance of 38m above the seaway. The part of the bridge crossing over the waterway is made of steel caissons launched from the abutment on the shore and 1.5 km of the bridge is based on land with a deck made of concrete pre-cast girders crossing above a road, railway and under power lines. The foundations of this bridge are composed of bored piles, driven piles and footing on bed roc. The piers and crossheads are prefabricated and were fixed by post-tensioning. Most of the work was “self-performed”.TASK :- Provide technical assistance on site and coordination of the work with the design team - Writing of Authorization request from stakeholders as Environmental certificate of authorization and thirds parties (CSX, Hydro Quebec, seaway, Municipalities, MTO)- Traffic management plans, site accesses, site pre-work - Redaction of method of statements- Temporary work drawings (AutoCAD)- Reinforcement & Concrete Inspection - Daily work planning according to schedule, site equipment management, daily records and work progress- Coordination of subcontractors, superintendents, working crews (over 150 workers) and field services.- Student Interns supervision- Assist the project coordinator for annual budget, estimation, cost control and scheduling. Calculate all productivity and material yields - Relationships with stakeholders through meetings and emails.- Assist Project Coordinator in procurement and tendering for subcontracting- Assist Risk management team to establish risk matrix- Keep records for claims management. Maintain diary on a daily basis
