Provides oversight over Facilities' strategic financial plan and strategic leadership in planning, budgets, and procurement for the service as a whole. Responsible for financial analysis and value management on capital projects, operations, and also Energy management. Responsible for Facilities' IT roadmap leading the modernization and implementation of innovative platform and systems enabling best practices in Asset Management, As the CAO - responsible for HR management, administration, and communications enabling the senior executive team in the delivery of Facilities' goals and priorities. Provides leadership and support across all Facilities on resource optimization and continuousimprovement initiatives.

In this newly created role reporting to the President & CEO, Sylvie worked directly with the Mint's executive leadership team facilitating key strategy activities, including Board of Directors orientation meetings and annual strategy sessions. She enabled alignment, increased communication, collaboration across our Mint teams, and supported the Mint community on a path of continued success while focusing on delivering results. She oversaw the Project Management Office for the delivery of critical strategic programs, the development of the Mint`s Corporate Plan, Annual Report, as well as, the Mint's Internal Communications.

Oversees the Canadian and International standards development programs which includes approval of the National Standards of Canada, governance of accreditated standards development organizations, and the facilitation of Canada’s participation in international standards development activities at the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Also accountable for the engagement of Industry in Canada's key economic sectors and engagement of Consumers and Public Interest groups in standardization activities.

Oversees the Canadian and International Standards development programs, including activities at the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
