Moving, creating, and connecting are important aspects of all I choose to be involved with. Participating in the BFA Dance Program at BYU has allowed me to gain experience in creating choreographic works for the stage and for the camera which I plan to always engage in. BYU along with my Yoga Teacher Certification have also provided me with an extensive study of the human body and how to promote physical and mental wellness as a dancer/athlete. Outside of my college education I have trained with SALT2, a pre-professional contemporary company based in Salt Lake, and taught multiple professional level and adult age dance and yoga classes. Each of these facets of the dance world: creating, wellness, and teaching are very important to me.While dance is a focal point in my career, my life outside of dance is equally important to me. I believe in balance and have loved my river guiding and yoga instructing jobs as well as hobbies like rock climbing that keep me outdoors. Some of my greatest experiences have come from my travels: Europe dance study abroad, humanitarian trips in Ghana and Mongolia, and adventures with my family and friends all over.
