Sylvie Tso is an experienced lawyer in the commercialisation team of Spruson & Ferguson Lawyers and advises clients on a broad range of IP and general commercial matters. Sylvie works regularly with many sectors of the technology based community, including inventors, start-up and established companies, universities, CRCs and research institutions and in a wide variety of fields, including life sciences, information technology, agriculture and FMCG.Sylvie's expertise includes:• advising on IP ownership, protection and licensing;• advising collaborative R&D and IP due diligence on corporate transactions; • preparing and negotiating a wide range of IP and commercial agreements, including material transfer agreements, non-disclosure agreements, manufacturing agreements, agency agreements, distribution agreements, business sale and purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, IT services agreements and software licensing agreements; and• advising on the requirements of the Australian Consumer Law, Personal Property Securities Act with respect to IP, and Privacy Act.
