As an Alumni Coordinator at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University (AAMU), I work with a diverse and dynamic team to plan, organize, and execute alumni engagement events and programs. I also manage and update the alumni database, communicate with alumni and donors, and assist with fundraising initiatives. My role enables me to contribute to the mission and vision of AAMU and its community, and to build and maintain strong relationships with alumni and stakeholders.I am also pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at AAMU, with a focus on accounting, which is my field of study and passion. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from AAMU in 2021, and I have gained valuable experience and skills in tax accounting through my internship at Open Heart Leaders, a non-profit organization that provides leadership development and mentoring programs for young people. I successfully prepared and filed tax returns for the organization and its clients, and helped them save money and comply with tax laws and regulations. Through my education and experience, I have developed strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills that I apply to my current role and future career goals.
