Symone “Mo” is a graduate of the University of Central Florida (2013' BSW) and Florida International University (2014' MSW), and is an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Mo is also 200-RYT Certified Yoga Instructor and the founder/owner of Mo Healing. Mo Healing Yoga and Wellness is a brand focused on promoting diversity, accessibility, and affordability within the yoga and wellness community. Mo’s therapeutic approach focuses on integrating therapeutic and alternative practices to achieve a holistic level of wellness. Responsible for the overall management of three inpatient crisis stabilization units. These functions include – but not limited too - day-to-day operations, providing supervision to employees and masters level interns, assures compliance with company rules, standards and contracts as pertains to your department services, handle staff member issues in accordance with the HR policies and procedure along with HR consultation and partner with the HR department in the process of recruiting and hiring new employees. Mostly importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Provided therapeutic support to patients and their families during the end of life process. Duties assigned included but was not limited to completing bio-psychosocial assessments, individual/family therapy, anticipatory grief, bereavement counseling. assisted patients and their families to complete advanced directives, as well final arrangements.

Conducts intitial and suicide risk assessments, develops and implements treatments focused on the clients. I also conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions that focus on mental health and substance abuse.
