I have worked in education in multiple roles for the past 25 years. I have had the privilege of teaching music at the elementary, intermediate and senior high school levels. Through my experience, I have taught grade 7 to 12 instrumental music, Grade 11/12 History of Rock and Roll; and k to 6 general music. I am a sessional instructor at the University of Prince Edward Island. My course load has included "Secondary Music Education Pedagogy,"; "Elementary Music Pedagogy" for the Faculty of Music and "Integration of the Arts" for the Faculty of Education. I was the department head of the school board's Drama Festival for nine years. In this administrative position, I organized entries, hired adjudicators, secured venues and managed the budget.
