Senior Project Manager
CurrentPrepare RFPs/RFQs for selected project procurement for Design, Design/Build, Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), Construction, and other Professional Services contracts selection process, documenting and summarizing the selection process, and prepare the debriefing documents for the unsuccessful respondents.Responsibly is to track the project's financial performance; this includes Negotiating project fees and construction contracts for projects through TOC/JOC, CSP, Designbuild, and CMAR procurement methods; compliance with OBO, such as MWBE, Pay or Play, etc.Coordinate with the Legal Department to draft contracts; drafting RCAs for funding appropriation as outlined in the client department CIP Form A Budgets; to obtain funding approval from City Council.Duties include implementing one or more projects by managing project teams from project programming through post-occupancy of projects to ensure that the City of Houston Client Departments' requirements are met, including attending all meetings.Assists client departments in developing PB&J for proposed CIP projects.Communicate this information effectively to the GSD Director/ GSD Assist Director or other COH client staff as directed.Establish and maintain ongoing, productive department client relationships.Contribute to office initiatives, learning programs, and mentor staff
