Currently working at a small design-house, Mojo Rising Studios, I'm able to hone my video editing and production skills.Previously from a non-profit organisation, PPIS, I was able to bring my digital expertise and experience over. Having a rather small digital audience in 2015, I was able to grow the organisation's number to 13.5k Facebook fans in 2020. I helped create a strong digital presence in Facebook and on Instagram. I proactively created new content and ran ads for all the different services in the organisation.I was from MediaCom for about 3.5 years and I have proven to be a valuable asset to the team. Being a digital native, I'm totally in sync with anything technological. Upon completion of the 6-month Media Masters' internship programme, I joined MediaCom as an Interaction Executive with a passion for content creation especially in film-making. I managed Facebook pages of two international brands namely P&G and Dell. There were a variety of challenges during my course of work which included content creation for major brands and the management of online community. However, I was able to complete time-sensitive tasks independently and competently. As a value-add to the team, I conceptualise promotional banners and product videos to go along with the marketing campaigns.Before joining Mediacom, I graduated from the Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Multimedia Technology, which is currently known as Digital Media. In addition, I was awarded the Certificate of Commendation and placed on the Director’s Roll.During my personal free time, I enjoy filming skate videos and ad-hoc projects. In 2011, I participated in an international competition organised by Puma titled "PUMA - Afterhours Athlete Contest" during which my video - the only entry from Asia - was featured in the top 10. This year, I submitted a less-than-2-minute video titled "You Had Me At Hello" to Yahoo! It is a programme where interns had to learn the ropes of media over the span of 6 months. I visited various vendors and media publishers to find more about what goes on behind the scenes. Learnt the various roles of media such as media planner, media buyer etc. After 3 months of intense training, I was attached to media agencies to receive hand-ons experience in media. I was directly responsible for client management and deliverables. -
