Software Development Global Lead practically manages group of full stack developers located in different geography - Manila, Bangkok, and Sri Lanka. The role is virtually the same to a Software Development Manager function providing technical and administrative leadership. Primary Responsibilities:1. Manage a team of over 20 global developers across three (3) countries (PH, TH, and Sri Lanka) ensuring successful collaboration on the projects.2. Work with the Business Analysis and Quality Assurance teams to effectively deliver the projects in the pipeline. 3. Introduce process improvementsOther Responsibilities:1. Own and manage the Sitecore servers – CMS and Commerce2. Assist the development team on release management3. Review technical and impact analysis4. Assess and reviews development estimates 5. Provide 3rd level technical support whenever necessary6. Coaching and mentorship Significant Contributions:1. Help in the stabilization of PH IT Operations.2. Introduction and implementation of software development standard processes - code review, unit testing, deployment3. TFS Migration to 20134. Migration of over 300 application source codes to Azure5. Successful implementation of over 100 Project and Change requests per annum.6. Lead the migration of legacy code to MVC pattern.

Role and Responsibilities• Assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and scheduling of tasks and assignments of team members depending on the needs and requirements• Provides guidelines/direction to developers• Creates proof of concepts on incoming requirements to identify possible solutions• Assists in troubleshooting production issues• Coordinates the work of the team to ensure that requirements are implemented on time and within Budget• Monitors and review the work progress of the team members• Provides weekly reports on the status of the release• Recommends and suggests continuous improvements to existing policies / procedures and in matters relating to people, processes and technology (e.g. through active participation in continuous improvement initiatives, quality teams, focus group discussions, root cause analyses, etc.) and then assisting in the implementation of improvements
