Expanding Acadia's pipeline across neurodegeneration, psychiatry and rare pediatric diseases. Performed due diligence leading to a $967M collaboration deal between Acadia and Stoke Therapeutics for three RNA-based treatments for severe and rare genetic neurodevelopmental diseases.

Worked on developing wireless somatosensory prosthetics for Spinal Cord Injury patients in the Neuroscience Graduate Group (NGG) program under Dr. Timothy Lucas. Notable innovations include the first successful neural chronic interface with sensory nuclei in the brainstem, and the first paper in primate literature to demonstrate successful detection of artificial touch stimuli delivered to the brainstem. Primary skills developed:• Brain Computer Interface (BCI) development• Development of wireless, passive, microfluidic antennas for peripheral force sensing• Signal processing of real-time neural data (MATLAB and Digital Signal Processing) • Primate behavioral training and task design to detect and discriminate artificial touch• Basic primate neurosurgeryPrevious Rotations:• Novel Nanoparticle Anti-Seizure Drug Delivery (Jan 2013 - May 2013): Developed micellar capsules filled with iron nanoparticles and benzodiazepines, designed to release anti-seizure medications upon external RF irradiation (triggered by EEG seizure detection). Performed in the labs of Dr. Brian Litt, Dr. Andrew Tsourkas and Dr. David Issadore.• fMRI Predictive Models in Neuroeconomics (Aug 2012 - Dec 2012): Developed a regression model to validate the use of fMRI data (collected during a financial decision-making task) to improve predictive power towards a subject's future economic decisions. Performed in the lab of Dr. Joe Kable.

Worked under Prof. Nabil Lawandy in the Brown Physics department and Solaris Nanosciences to solve computational nanophysics problems in artificial atom design. Initiated two new partnerships with labs in Croatia and Czech Republic to scale up to supercomputing levels of performance in our algorithms. Computational work completed in MATLAB, Linux, C++ and Finite Element Method packages. Finished undergraduate thesis project in this lab and submitted body of work to arXiv Preprint.

Developed Hidden Markov Models to investigate the role of epigenetics in the aging of Drosophila fruit flies. Worked with Prof Nicola Neretti, funded under an Undergraduate Research Teaching Award (UTRA).

Developed viral vectors to convert fibroblast cells to stem cells, with the purpose of treating cortical cell loss in Alzheimer's patients. Worked under Prof. Asa Abeliovich and Lily Chau as a NYSTEM summer program student.

Developed a Critical Path algorithm to monitor the progress of a large-scale hospital expansion, and prevent co-dependencies from causing unforeseen delays.

Taught differential equations and other topics to summer high school students in the Mathematics Department.
