I am an experienced professional with IT experience in a wide range of verticals including banking, gaming, hospitality, business services, and manufacturing. This experience has allowed me to develop a wide range of perspectives to evaluate a given technology or business problem. I pride myself on my critical thinking skills, and love to problem solve.I started my IT career as a student technician at Rogers State University. This gave me a great introduction to tier 1 and tier 2 level computer issues and help me develop the knowledge needed to work in a slightly more elevated role. I had an opportunity to work such a role at Imagenet Consulting as a Systems Administrator. In that role I learned a lot about how to manage Active Directory, server infrastructure, networking infrastructure, and Office 365. Once ready for a new challenge I moved to SpringPoint Technologies. While at SpringPoint Technologies I worked a couple of different roles, including Project Engineer and Central Services. The Project Engineer role let me further develop design/deployment skills and work with a lot of great vendors and people along the way. Moving to the Central Services role afforded me the opportunity to manage all the tools used in support of the business, which was in of itself a rewarding challenge. While I enjoyed my time at SpringPoint, I started to feel like it was time for a change and to develop some other skillsets. Working as a Business Analyst as Muscogee Nation Gaming Enterprises allowed me to gain some great perspective on the "business" side of the IT equation, and also allowed me to really practice and refine SQL knowledge. Most recently, moving to a security-focused role has allowed me to practice a wide range of the skills and use knowledge from a variety of sources. I am learning everyday and plan to continue to do so indefinitely!
