A senior partner in PwC’s Global Tax, Reporting & Strategy practice, responsible for PwC’s global integrated compliance solutions.Being compliant in a fast changing - and very complex world is the no 1 concern of all entrepreneurs, from small businesses to the largest multinationals.Next to a variety of small jobs, ao garbage man, during his study in Rotterdam, his first serious job was with a Rotterdam based real estate project developer. This explains Sytso’s great affinity for real estate and interests in real estate.After his studies Sytso started his career with the Dutch Tax Administration and joined it's Dutch ruling team as corporate income tax inspector. He moved to PwC in 1990 and specializes in international tax structuring, his clients were mainly multinational companies. Sytso became a partner in 1995. He joined PwC’s Tax Board in 2009 and from January 2010 till July 2016 he was chairman of the Dutch Tax practice, member of the board of management of PwC in the Netherlands and member of PwC’s global Tax board.His professional work has shifted from international tax structuring to global compliance solutions and a focus on strategic client challenges, next to leadership positions.Until 2010 Sytso was a board member of SANEC (South African – Netherlands chamber of commerce), treasurer of Stichting Laurenskerk in Rotterdam and of a local hockey club.As of 2016 supervisory board member of Support Casper/stichting oak, surviving with pancreatic cancerSpecialties: International tax structuring, global reporting solutions. As result of his last leadership roles/positions inside and outside PwC a very good understanding of governance and supervision.Retired from PwC last june 2022 and finally can spend more time on active investing, particularly in real estate.
