I had the privilege of working for one of the leading energy companies in Qatar. As part of the finance team, I contributed to the financial operations and played a crucial role in ensuring the company's financial health and compliance.As a Finance Assistant, I performed a wide range of financial tasks to support the smooth operation of the finance department. I diligently handled financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and payments. I maintained meticulous records and documentation, adhering to established financial procedures and policies.In collaboration with the finance team, I actively participated in the budgeting and forecasting processes. I assisted in the preparation of financial reports and analysis, providing valuable insights to support decision-making by the management. I utilized various financial tools and software to compile and analyze data, identifying trends and patterns to improve financial performance.Additionally, I assisted in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial records were reconciled and accurately reported. I collaborated with auditors during the annual audit, providing necessary documentation and addressing queries to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, I developed strong multitasking and time management skills. I efficiently prioritized tasks, handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
