As part of an Implementation Project I was responsible for:- covering the migration of invoice processes, wire payments and corporate expenses from Switzerland into the newly established UK Shared Service Centre- taking part in local trainings for end-users- summarising local Accounts Payable exceptions and writing SOPs- working closely with the outsourced partners to resolve issues, help train the market, advice on process improvement ideas and escalate possible challenges to the management After Go-Live my duties were to:- work closely with the outsource provider to ensure a high volume of invoices and credit notes are processed as per agreed procedures- manage Vendors calls & resolve queries- perform the invoice discrepancy resolution process- support end-to-end process performance and improvements through Performance Management and other Lean Sigma practices- review accounting documents to identify unusual or overdue items and escalate to the appropriate Accounts Payable team member accordingly- produce routine reports, schedules, and summaries for management as required- meet service level agreements and performance targets related to invoice processing & internal control- support period end financial closing activities- support new markets during their migration phase and share knowledge and best practices- product and present KPI numbers onto the dashboard for the daily team meeting and for the management

As part of the US Accounts Payable Team I was responsible for:- reviewing and releasing invoices – about 100-200 invoices passed through my check daily- performing bank account reconciliations- finalise month end closing reports- processing manual wire payments- securing that urgent payments are made within the agreed SLA- owned and managed the lost/open check payment investigation- handling incoming calls from vendors/stakeholders- solving issues related to incorrect payments/
