Until the end of 2005 I had the opportunity to work in close contact with two highly experienced engineers in the Hungarian product management team. During these years I could build up a strong foundation to acquire the „Ytong know-how”. Caused by major changes at the company I had to overtake the leadership of this department and had to lead all related projects. In 2005 Xella Hungary became a member of EAACA (European Aerated Autoclaved Concrete Association), next year of ECSPA (European Calcium Silicate Association) activity groups, so I got the chance to build up good relations with product manager colleagues from the Xella group and competitor companies on a European level. Since the regional (Bulgaria-Hungary-Romania) management board is situated in Hungary I have been coordinating the activities of the product manager colleagues from the region for three years already. Later since the end of 2008 I have been supporting the work of the Chinese product manager activities, providing a link between the Chinese and European colleagues and managing key product management projects in cooperation with the International Marketing team.

During this short period the newly established architect bureau has participated in two tenders: Expansion of the Hajos Alfred National Swimming Pool for the 2005 World Cup and the new buildings of the regional court in Gyor. Parallel the tender plans were made for a shopping centre in Veresegyház (near Budapest).

Finta Studio is one of the biggest architect bureaus in Hungary lead by the star architect Jozsef Finta. The major work during these years was the Arkad shopping mall in Szeged with it's 70.000 m2 surface area and the expansion of the Headquarters of Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During and after these large works the project team has participated and won several tenders such as the new building of the Semmelweis Medical University or the epansion of Budapest Airport.

Three major works were completed during these months, two residential buildings in Budapest and the winter garden of the famous Gundel Restaurant.

I worked throughout my whole studies and the major step in my professional life was this architect bureau. This was a small office with a head architect designer, an interior designer and myself. It was a good opportunity to learn how to manage a project from A to Z, how to coordinate and cooperate with co-designers. During this one year reconstruction plans were made for two regional hospitals, one brand new hospital and one home for the elderly.
