As an EHS Manager, I am accountable for developing, organizing, administering, and maintaining all environmental, health, and safety programs. Provide leadership, support and direction for all aspects of environmental affairs. Establish corporate regulatory compliance strategies and is ultimately responsible for regulatory compliance throughout the organization. Also responsible for corporate safety initiatives to minimize the number and reduce the severity of accidents and injuries while maintaining the efficiency of the jobsite and the wellbeing of employees and customers.• Be an advocate for safety and serviceability early in the New Product Development process• Assist in training and development of new EHS team members to ensure their success and contribution to the greater EHS team• Manage contractor safety prequalification process using established processes and work with sourcing management team to ensure contractor compliance• Administers Workers’ Compensation program including cost containment efforts, claim files, medical reports, and representation at hearings • Conducts safety audits and hazard assessments when appropriate in conjunction with applicable safety programs and/or regulations• Source any required safety equipment from suppliers for field personnel when it is not available in the Vertiv warehouse• Generate then disseminate compliance and status reports for various levels within the organization.• When required by a customer, be an onsite safety representative at large construction projects for extended periods of time.

I am responsible for all duties related to the coordination of the Vertiv Services and Project Services' facilities, employee safety, equipment, and company vehicles. In order to meet company's established safety requirements, I work closely with the Safety Director, Field Operations Department, Compliance, and Procurement to ensure employee safety needs are met.• Performed Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) by forming cross-functional teams to then break down the job into tasks and identifying the hazards associated with each then assigning mitigating controls.• Led incident investigations by coordinating a cross-functional team comprised of Ops Managers, Technical Experts, and Upper Management.• Root Cause Analysis methods were implemented during investigations to identify any and all applicable Corrective Actions to prevent future incidents.• Organized a project to modify the handle of the Alber Cellcorder by applying ergonomic principles to the design of a retrofit adapter.• Led an ergonomic evaluation of a refurbishment depot to determine Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorder (WMSD) risk potentials for line workers.• Partnered with the Commercial Compliance Specialist to ensure existing safety programs were up-to-date by comparing them to Contractor Management Systems (ISNetworld, Avetta, etc). • Maintain and delivered the introductory safety class, which outlined business mandated safety policies, company expectations, and OSHA regulations to newly hired field employees.• Presented business unit Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to board of executives quarterly to brief them on the progress that has been made by the business unit and where it stands in comparison to the others.• Conducted Safety Performance Reviews on field employees across the United States to correct any identified deficiencies in their PPE, safe work practices, and general safety knowledge.• Developed working knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards; OSHA, NIOSH, NFPA, and IEEE.

• Created and analyzed spreadsheets involving injury causation data for the Management Analyst Supervisor.• Reviewed Safety Grant submissions from employers seeking to establish workplace safety intervention best practices for accident and injury prevention.• Created PowerPoint presentations for office ergonomic training for the Ergonomics Technical Advisor.• Configured and created an abridged operating manual for a Larson Davis HVM100 for field audits.

• Took paint samples from condemned buildings for analysis for asbestos and lead content with the Hazardous Materials Coordinator. • Visited work sites and took dust and noise readings with the Environmental Safety Coordinator.• Participated in Safety Walk-Throughs of Peden Stadium with the Director of Safety.• Performed a light survey of the bike path that encompasses the parameter of the Athens campus for the Director of Safety. • Examined all cross-walks connected to university property for further investigation by the Safety Director and a committee of city officials.

• Handled high security responsibilities in regards to banks and the handling of currency.• Use problem solving strategies and critical thinking to install and remove heavy materials (ATMs, Business Depositories).• Required long work hours (50+) and frequent out of state travel.

• Search databases for articles concerning Ageism, Sexism, and Racism in the workplace.• Articles collected were then compiled into one comprehensive computer folder for the assigned Graduate Student.• Encode Excel Spreadsheets to be later analyzed and processed.
