In response to the COVID-19 pandemic the dance studio commissioned me to review existing systems, conduct market research and propose an alternative club management system to reduce costs and to adapt to changing business needs (online bookings and payments, going cashless, self-serving solutions for customers, live-streaming classes). Configuring the new system within Mindbody, data migration from existing systems, streamlining financial procedures, staff training and customer service have been in the centre of the project. In addition, I worked closely with senior management on changing the business model, proposed and implemented a new structure, provided statistical and financial reports to support decision making. I acted as the bridge between the new systems and the latest business requirements, recognising opportunities within the softwares e.g. to lower costs or introducing new offers and schemes, as well as accommodating company needs in accounting, customer services and contracting.

Danceworks is a premier dance studio in Mayfair where I was responsible for the majority of the business’ online and offline communication including newsletters, adverts, website, graphic designs, social media channels, special offers, photography, filming, events and related PR activity. I was leading a team to maximise exposure and to attract new clientele.In addition, I managed the Membership Department dealing with membership queries as well as reporting and data analysis. The role required to enhance existing offerings to increase the intake of new customers and upkeep competitiveness.I implemented club management systems following an extensive review of all procedures within the entire business.
