Built and shipped some amazing tools and services. Users reported a 4x boost in personal productivity.1. Payments — Completely revamped the infrastructure to use Stripe. It was the first system I took ownership of less than 2 months into starting at Ultraworking. Created a system for the sales team to easily generate promotional campaigns on the fly.2. Headquarters — An all in one desktop app for all Ultraworking tools and services where users spent over 100,000 hours during Covid 19 lockdowns working on their Most Important Work. I took lead on building the the backend systems and infrastructure.3. Clockwork Nutrition — A genetic algorithm powered meal-planning service that automated perfect nutrition via curated meal-plans with daily food delivery from your favorite restaurants. Loved by people at Tesla, Dropbox and OpenAI. First major operational role at Ultraworking where I was responsible for ensuring that the logistical machinery was perfectly oiled. I remotely led a team responsible for ensuring food deliveries went out on time and built a feedback system for users which cut down meal dissatisfaction by 90%.4. Last Resolution Standing — A friendly, "battle royale" experience to gamify adherence to New Year's resolutions which went from idea to launch in under 1 week. I was responsible for the complete backend/system design which included architecting the database structure and setting up the infrastructure and backend for the web app. 200+ signups in under 5 hours of launch.5. Mother's Day AI — A proof of concept tool that went from idea to launch in under 5 days. I was responsible for wiring up the infrastructure for the web app as well as creating an AI agent to generate highly individualised Mother's Day experience ideas for users.

Trasso is a startup based in Kuching, Malaysia which is focused on advancing the digital economy of Sarawak.Our flagship product is i-fix; a platform that connects Repairmen to people requiring fixes around their houses and workplaces.I was one of the Founding members and served as the Lead Backend Engineer on the team.I was responsible for setting up the core systems infrastructure for i-fix — this included architecting the database models, deciding on and implementing the tech stack and other miscellaneous system architecture, setting up a payments system, creating web landing pages, etc.I also handled Operations duties which involved me keeping track of revenue, monitoring the dev team's performance and advising the General Manager on streamlining the business model for i-fix.I exited Trasso formally in March 2019 and it unfortunately went defunct in the early days of the Pandemic.

I worked on Radica's new cloud-based collaborative diagramming tool called Vecta.I was primarily responsible for:* Setting up an auto-scaling load balancing system using AWS Elastic Beanstalk.* Setting up a text-based search engine to filter tagged stencils and symbols using ElasticSearch.I also took on a side project to upgrade the local network at Radica's offices to a more secure network with access-restricted sub-networks and connected Network Storage (NAS) devices.

I served as an executive member of the Student Council for the 2016 academic term.My responsibilities as Director of the Student Activities & Recreation Centre revolved around me ensuring the day-to-day operations of the facility were running smoothly — this involved liaising with the university's facilities and maintenance departments on keeping the Student Centre operational 24/7.Under my leadership, the Student Centre transitioned from being operational only from 10am - 11pm to being open for students 24/7.I also lobbied the University Administration to upgrade the internet facilities inside the Student Centre to a top-of-the-line optical fiber broadband line allowing students to work on their assignments and projects in a relaxed atmosphere.I also developed a booking system for meeting rooms inside the Recreation Centre for students to be able to submit requests to make booking online without having to physically present themselves at the help desk inside the Student Centre.
