About Rob Szarka
I am an economist interested in the relationship between regulation and civil liberties, as well as the teaching of economics. I am passionate about teaching introductory economics, and about explaining both the why and the how of Bitcoin to students.In my second life, I am experienced in all layers of Internet/Web technology and focused on building standards-based solutions with open-source software running on UNIX/Linux. I am not currently seeking large design or development projects, but I do offer web hosting via Bizgrok and I am available to consult with my hosting customers, as well as on small Bitcoin-related projects. In addition to a fleet of servers hosting DNS, email, and web sites, I operate a Lightning node, Bitcoin miners, and multiple Bitcoin full nodes.In my third life I am a DJ and swing dance instructor. In previous lives I was a BBS sysop, punk guitarist, juggler, dance event organizer, and city council candidate.
