Currently at EBSCO, I am participating in the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) development process on a feature team. Using TDD (Test Driven Development), I am developing with JavaScript and XSLT to create new and maintain existing EBSCO Licensed Databases that satisfy the customers expectation. Along with this I maintain older style C# based loaders, including AOA v12 to create test builds. My responsibilities include both development and test of these databases following the SaFe methodology.Another job responsiblity is maintaining many older style utilties, processes, and automation suites. When one of the processes needs support, much research and documenting is needed to discover the information needed to support it. Often the information needed is no longer with the company. This includes a QTP Regression suite that tests a tool that transforms data.

At EBSCO I implement and maintain the PAL layer for UI and SOAP Web Service Frameworks in ATS, an internal automation tool using C# that wraps Selenium WebDriver. I am responsible for training and support of automation for 3 development feature teams. I created and maintained remote automation infrastructure in OpenStack for the automation framework. I am the Lead QA Engineer responsible for mentoring 2 new employees, removing obstacles, empowering the team to grow and succeed, and ensuring they have a full work queue.

At Digital Bungalow I was the Lead QA engineer responsible for the quality initiative at this digital marketing and web site design company. I tested new, redesigns, and updates to both informational and ecommerce websites. I preformed CMS testing in Drupal, Magento, and a proprietary Content Management System. Maintained the QA schedule to ensure all projects will have a QA cycle with enough time to meet our quality standards In charge of managing online uTest test cycles and hired, trained, and oversaw QA Interns.

RapidBuyr was a B2B Daily Deals Website. I created , ran , and reviewed automation using Ranorex on this ecommerce website to increase efficiently and speed to market. I was the sole QA engineer responsible for the site wide transition of ecommerce web site from in-house development to a third party vendor; including full testing, management of the defect database, and collaborating with offsite developers. Manually test output from a content management system (CMS) as well as ecommerce cart. Run queries to ensure buyer, purchase, and product information correctly populates in MS SQL database.

At EBSCO I created a comprehensive QTP test suite of over 50 VB scripts that run 200 times daily on a subset of 590 publication databases. I also maintained a MySQL database which contains testing information on those publication databases. This automated the outsourced manual testing to eliminate overhead and increase speed-to-market from a 2 business day delay to a 1 hour delay, running 24x7. I also used Ruby on Rails to develop a QA toolkit consisting of automated test cases, submission forms, and reports to assist manual QA engineers in their daily tasks

Everypoint created software for cell phones which required manual testing. I used J2ME to maintain and create functionality tests utilized in determining cell phone compatibility. Directed QA Team of up to four people with both day to day activities and through three large and seven small projects. I personally created and manage the creation of, and implement of Test Plans, UI and functional testing, defect tracking. Reviewed and provided feedback on design documentation, blueprints, and technical specifications. Trained new QA engineers, including those new to the profession, in test plan creation and UI testing.

I Was the lead analyst in charge of the entire regression library, including the organization of new script submissions.
