Hello, I am Simone who is an ACCA affiliate and a graduate from Victoria University at Sunway.As the recipient of Jefferey Cheah ACE Scholarship and second upper class student, I am highly responsible and focus on self-development along my study journey. In addition to that, I have acted as leader in numerous assignments which required me to plan, organize and review the quality of work performed.Other than academic achievements, I have participated actively in scout activities including taking up significant leadership roles such as the vice-president and secretary of the club. The experience gained in university and scout club has sharpened my leadership, management and communication skills by giving me the exposure to organize several events such as camping events and talks in the campus. Furthermore, I am the second runner-up recipient of the Creativity in Entrepreneurial Team Challenge and have awarded the “Overall Best Social Impact Project” from a charity project that collaborated with a non-governmental organization known as Pertubuhan Kebajikan Skizofrenia Malaysian.Aside from that, I have acted as an audit trainee in BDO Malaysia for 2 months. During the internship, I have participated in 2 audit engagements that supervised by different managers. I have obtained the techniques to increase work efficiency and effectiveness by involving in audit processes. Time management is another essential skill that I have obtained from the internship due to the workload in audit processes.Lastly, I believe that I will make a significant contribution if I am given this role. This opportunity will definitely benefit me by giving me a valuable real-world and hands-on experience in the accounting industry to support the organization in achieving its objectives and goals.
