I am a master's student at the University of Texas at San Antonio pursuing a degree in mathematics with a concentration in applied and industrial mathematics. I have experience in education, with three semesters in middle in high schools preparing for my certification to teach mathematics for grades 7-12, as well as tutoring mathematics at the community college and university levels. My potential research areas include stochastic optimization, stochastic differential equations, and applied probability.I have taught at Blinn College in Bryan, TX, St. Philip's College in San Antonio, TX, and at IDEA Walzem in San Antonio. Currently, I am a teaching assistant at UTSA.Most recently, along with three teammates, I received first prize in the advanced track at the UTSA Rowdy Datathon, a data-science hacking marathon. Our track goals were to develop a machine learning model to predict births in Texas in 2030.
