Wincor Nixdorf is one of the leading companies in retail and banking software/hardware development. Company customers comes from many different parts of world and industry therefore solutions need to be suited for their needs. It is crucial that people involved in process of creating such solution had wide arrange of skills and be able to quickly understand market and business requirements and processes. During my work in company I worked on the software part of POS systems offered by the company. My responsibilities included:• Perform analysis of received functional requirements in terms of existing business processes, changes in the existing code and dependencies between other parts of system.• Implement the solution basing on existing coding standards, architecture and company common practices. • Fulfilling given tasks with usage of company tools and following common processes in company (version control, task reporting, bug tracking)• Pursue communication with supervisors and co-workers by using processes, tools and practices common in organization.• Integrating the solution with other parts of the system – both: on code level, and on functional level.• Repairing the incoming bugs to emphasize quality, performance and reliability of solution.• Traveling to company headquarter for better communication and information exchange with supervisors and co-workers.

The company provides services which include consulting services, creating solutions and implementations of dedicated IT systems.Throughout the duration of my employment I participated in the creation and development of an IT system for the German travel agency to support its complex business processes related to customer service, order management and the relationship of the German company with its partners as well.During my work in the company I worked on the following system components:• The main system for tour sales 'Voyager'. (created with ASP.NET + T-SQL).• The application responsible for the documents printing (created the technology of WPF).• API which allows external systems to sell package tours (as ASP.NET WebService).• PHP components, facilitating the creation of websites selling tours defined in the system (PHP 5).• The simulation of the costs and benefits on the basis of the agreement of the German travel agency with customers and contractors. ( created with ASP.NET + T-SQL).• Rewriting the equipment maintenance management system for one of the Polish power plant (project not connected with the Voyager system, ASP.NET).My responsibilities included:• Designing and creating functionality for the main sales system.• Detecting and repairing errors in the main sales system.• Developing and fixing errors in the subsystem responsible for the generation of documents in DOCX/PDF format.• Developing and fixing errors in the subsystem responsible for printing and sending documents to clients.• Designing, developing and fixing errors in system API.• Working on the optimization of database operations.

Garmory is a company, which develops an internet MMO games in browser. The company has just began, inspired by a success of their past game (over 200k active players, state of biggest polish MMO game in browser – www.margonem.pl), work on their second product – another MMO game as well. My job in that company was to develop an applications (or improving existing), which would be included in process of creating in-game world in ‘Margonem’ and ‘Neurostaza’ games. During my employment in company I developed many applications. These are only few of them:• Application for editing in-game dialogs.• Application for creating in-game characters from provided graphics.• Application for controlling company servers, server answers analyzing, and keeping servers online.Applications, which I created, included below issues:• Text analysis, syntax highlighting, hint mechanism.• Connecting with databases, executing queries from programming language level.• Problem analysis, creating algorithms and data structures.• Graphic operations, GDI+ and image processing with pointers.• Creating own controls and developing user-friendly interfaces.• Basic Multi-Thread operations (background workers, timers).

Logotec Engineering is a well known on silesian market. Company has developed well known CRM system. During my employment, company was developing MobileConnector – application for creating mobile applications. My work was mainly involved in bug reporting and bug repairing process.
