His artistic œuvre encompasses a multimedia field of photography, typography, painting and graphics. He currently lives and works in Vienna.Olszowski's graphic work oscillates between clear lines, glazed color application and ornate play of forms. The combination of randomly applied dots of color and dynamic compositional patterns create a harmonious interplay of form and color. In the fragmentary paintings, line and color flow sweepingly into one another and dissolve again, creating an uncontrollably growing pictorial space that negates a fixed viewer standpoint.The factor of chance plays an essential role in Olszowski's works. By means of an open-minded approach to the emergence of the image, his works illustrate an openness to intuitively emerging forms. According to Olszowski, it is only through the "interplay of ongoing change and the unplanned in the drawing process that an organic flow emerges".
