Ever since I first touched a computer as a small child, I knew that I was going to work with computers. I started programming at the age of 11, and since then I have spent thousands and thousands ofhours either programming, or learning, reading or talking about programming.I am a polyglot programmer with a passion for writing robust, maintainable software. I live and breathe software. When I'm not working on projects for my employer, I am likely working on my own side projects, or helping people with their programming problems online. I frequently and intentionally find myself in the mentor role, and I get a kick out of helping people solve problems.Currently, I work as a consultant for NTT Data Business Solutions, where I am part of their Innovation & Technology department. While NTT's roots are in SAP consulting, I&T is all about non-SAP development. Being a polyglot with a strong foundation and expert-level knowledge in multiple programming languages and technologies, I get to solve all sorts of interesting problems. I do a lot of greenfield development, both for customers as well as on internal projects. I always bring my best, and there is no critic that can be tougher on me than myself. Nothing less than excellence is acceptable.I am constantly learning and refreshing my skills, and love learning about and using new technologies and programming languages. I am firm believer in the idea that programming languages are just tools - I will use the best tool for the job, whether that is TypeScript, Rust, Haskell, C or even Prolog, or practically any other language under the sun. If I haven't used it already, my many years of programming and experience across multiple languages and paradigms will let me pick it up quickly.Being a part of a small, dynamic team within a large organization, and primarily being part of greenfield projects, I almost always wear several hats. I am usually responsible for designing the systems from scratch, building large parts of the functionality myself, as well as being responsible for infrastructure and deployment.
