The Retail journey stated in the mid 90’s as Trainee in the Department Store Illum in Copenhagen. It was soon clear that I had some Talent. My fortune was that people around me saw that and helped me on the way. So I quickly rose to a Store Manager position and took on bigger and bigger roles in larger Stores. I was fortunate to be able to be a successful Leader through all aspects of leadership. It was always important to me that my colleagues was aware of the path to take – this through regularly 1-to1 meetings, in which behavior, KPI’s and personal growth were discussed in order to gain success for my team, my company and myself. In the last couple of years it were clear to me that I needed to find a different path. Completely clueless I set out on a journey to find said path. In that time I had lots of 1-to-1 talks with myself. 😊 Why – What – Where questions was placed. Some were answered, some not. But in the end I found my call. Stayed in Retail, but as Owner of a vomFASS Franchise Store in Stuttgart. Best decision ever!!! – opened the Store in Corona times (inset Emoji – Holding gun to my head). Full throttle from day one, and never looked back. Using all my experience I have within two years catapulted my Store be in top 25 in Germany (150 Stores). Working day in and day out, but was never so relaxed as I am now. Did I mention – Best decision ever!!!
