Modelling of complex reactive flows in reverse flow type combustors by using advanced chemistry reduction techniques.

The project was optimizing the air-drag on gas turbine blades by controlling the laminar separation bubbles. The aim was to reduce the length and size of the laminar separation bubbles which are mainly responsible for the drag force and efficiency of the blade. I worked on:• External flow aerodynamics• Flow control• Air-drag optimization• Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) Also, I assisted lectures like aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and numerical methods

I was responsible for the aerodynamic design of the project ''Bayraktar Tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)''. In this company, I initiated the first CFD analysis of the products. I did CFD analysis to design and to optimize of the full system and also the sub-systems like wing, fuselage, air-intake of the engine and so on. I generate aerodynamic database of full-system and sub-systems by using fast tools and these databases were validated by advanced tools (CFD) and experiment as well. I collaborated and I supported different design groups from conceptual to detailed design phase. I worked on:• External flow aerodynamics • Aerodynamic design and optimization of UAS from preliminary to detailed design phases• CFD analysis of UAS from sub-systems to full-system• Flight performance, flight dynamics and thermal analysis

I worked as a Ground Instructor. • Lectures given to the Pilot candidates• Lessons and teaching plans prepared and executed to the pilot candidates who are coming from different specialisation.
