Role - On behalf of the Managing Contractor I lead the commercial element of the works within the Snowy Valley, Snowy Monaro and Greater Hume regions. Subcontractors were engaged on a Schedule of Rates basis and on weekly progress claim / assessment cycles, with weekly turnover in excess of $3m for the region. Using my experience to introduce and implement systems and processes which have been adopted project wide. I've successfully negotiated and agreed final costs with Subcontractors whilst demonstrating to the Client that costs are reasonable and value for money, meanwhile maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders. New build 8 storey clinical services building and refurbishment of existing hospital with associated external works.Facility includes 170 inpatient beds, outpatient clinics, operating theatres, emergency department, intensive care suites, new main entrance, prefabricated bathroom pods, offices, nuclear medical services, cardiology, respiratory and aged care facilities. Building frame consists of an in-situ concrete and steel combination. The external façade consists of composite aluminium cladding, rainscreen cladding and pre-cast concrete panels. The project is valued at $145m. (July 2013 - Feb 2014) Auburn Junction Project Stages 9, 10 & 11, on behalf of the Novo Rail Alliance.
