I was born and raised in Mesquite, TX. and graduated from Mesquite High School in 1985. I attended Eastfield Community College for two years before receiving a golf scholarship to play for the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX under Coach Mac Hickerson. Besides asking Barbra to marry me this was the best decision of my life at that point. I made some life long friends who I remain in contact with to this day. I still love to fish and hunt more than I enjoy playing golf. I guess because I don't get the opportunity to do these activities as often as I get to play golf. I still enjoy playing in competitive golf events and getting out with friends and members for a fun round of golf when the opportunity presents itself. Barbra and I have two boys and they both love to play basketball and golf when we can. They both enjoy hunting and fishing as well, so we try to get out as much as possible depending on the season. That's the great thing about fishing, it's in season all year long.
