I received my Bachelor’s degree in finance and business economics from the University of North Dakota. During the course of my double-major program, I’ve honed a strong attention to detail while generating economic forecasts, conducting population analysis, and completing other statistics-based coursework. I have also appreciated the chance to contribute outside the classroom, serving as a Junior Analyst for the Student Managed Investment Fund during the 2016/2017 school year. While working for the fund I gained strong experience in portfolio asset management and security analysis, and helped younger students more accurately interpret a stock as “good, bad, or neutral.” My work experience has included an internship with the financial services firm First Income Advisors LLC, where I got the chance to promote annuity-related services to advisors and other financial professionals. Using math and statistics to solve complex problems is what motivates me most. That’s why I’ve been drawn to the process of running multiple data tests as part of a careful economic forecast balancing several variables. I also pride myself in helping others succeed.
