• Administer all benefit programs, including annual open enrollment, health, dental, life, disability, retirement, COBRA, PTO, and LOA. • Maintain personnel records in compliance with applicable requirements. Review and enter employee change in status documents.• Conduct new employee orientation and scheduling of general management orientation programs.• Perform all day-to-day functions related to the processing of employee timekeeping and payroll.• Coordinate new hire paperwork to include Federal and State tax forms, I-9’s, personal information forms, confidentiality statements, issuing of employee handbooks and job descriptions, authorization of ID badges and the review of company benefits.• Enter data and prepare HRIS reports.• Assist in the development of departmental procedures for administration of policies, practices, procedures and programs.• Assist managers/directors with special research projects as needed, perform a variety of general personnel duties, and provide assistance for department employees.• Coordinate employee team building and morale boosting activities/events.• Perform recruiting functions to include validation of requisition approval, job postings, job advertisements, pre-screenings, interview scheduling, skills testing, reference checks, physical/drug test scheduling, job offers and hire letters.•Initiate company response to unemployment claims; serve as liaison between unemployment compensation service organization and management.
