• To ensure smooth functioning of operations by providing complete assistance to operations by acting as one point of contact for security department in the respective shift.• Educate safety procedures to staff.• Maintain constant vigil like perimeter sounds and report irregularities and non-compliance of safety and security procedures.• Daily audit of X Ray Documents.• Visitor safety as per Menzies Policy.• Monitoring of CCTV on regular basis.• Ensuring all accidents and incidents are reported and fully investigated and appropriate corrective processes put in place.• Ensure all the hazard are identified and risk assessment is completed on time.

AVIATION SECURITY• Security functions -guarding, access control, search, inspection, surveillance screening and escort of aircraft.• Good knowledge about Annexure -17, Standards and Recommended Practices. (Aviation Security).• Carry out Pre-flight, Post-flight security checks.• Protect cargo in relation to vulnerable cargo, valuable cargo, arms and ammunition.• Protect the aircraft by undertaking aircraft search, guarding inspection and access control activities.• Process Immigration for crews, Aircraft Engineers, and aircraft access control. • Protect/guard lost items.• Report to any incidents in the vicinity of the aircraft.• Provide immediate response to any call for assistance from the cockpit crew and cabin crew.• Good Knowledge of Security Equipment's such as X BIS (Smith Heiman / Rapiscan) Explosive Detectors ( ETD 500 DT, ETD 600 ,Itemizer ) , Search mirrors ( UVSM, UVSS)
