My last gig was with U.S. Rubber recycling.My focus is maximizing a company’s ability to adapt and succeed in today’s ever-changing business landscape resulting in a clear pathway to elevate performance and profitability. I tackle challenges with a "Look, Listen, Learn, Leverage, Lean into / Lean out of" mindset. Collaborating with the stakeholders, we delve into the core characteristics of their vision, drill down into pain points, assess technical talent, texture of the culture, and the pace and rhythm of the organization. Then, we develop and implement projects, initiatives, and establish KPI’s, coupled with rigorous follow-up, that contribute to their success. My areas of expertise include: – Designed, permitted, constructed, and started up a new processing plant while simultaneously shuttering a legacy plant.– Achieved 2X sales growth in 1½ years processing post-consumer recycled and repurposed truck tires (15MM lbs/yr) earning 6 LEED points in the process.– Supplied Tier 1 parts to the automotive industry (QS9001 – ISO14001).– Extruded polycarbonate and acrylic sheet, and custom profile shapes.– Compounded, extruded, calendared, and molded rubber (PPAP approval). – Designed and developed weapons and ammunition (6, 9, 25, and 40mm).– Implemented and sustained ERP (Oracle) and EHS programs.– Crafted high-quality wood furniture and fabricated metal door frames, patio sets, and cabinets.– Produced vacuum formed FRP backed baths and spas (UL certification).– Processed (2.6MM lbs./day) prill sulphur and developed custom-formulated (micro-nutrient) pastille processes.– Expanded powdercoating capabilities and pioneered sublimation processes.
