Just retired from Indian Oil Corporation Ltd as Executive Director (Finance) in May 2011, after working 34 years in various positions,functions and locations. Vast experience of Oil & Gas industry in India and knowledge of Global Oil and Gas - Down stream, Midstream and Up stream. Vastly experienced in all the functions of Finance, Management Accounting, Project evaluation and financing,Treasury & Fund management, working capital management etc.. Well experienced/acquainted in Mergers & Acquisitions, business valuation, Tax, financial, accounting and business due deligence and data room handling.Fair knowledge and experience in the formation of strategic alliances including JVs and UJVs. Worked in an environment of ERP/SAP and contributed immensely to business process restructuring.Having worked in Business Development for pretty long period, fully conversant with starting of new businesses - Gas, Petrochemicals, Exploration & Production ,Globalisation initiatives, sale of services including to overseas locations.

As head of Finance 0f Corporate Business Development Group,successfully steered the setting up and growth of new businesses Gas(RLNG),Petrochemicals,Exploration&Production, Globalisation initiatives, Mergers&Acquisitions, etc. Was responsible for leading and working with various business groups for evaluation, identification and pursuing each business opportunity. Core finance background helped in contributing immense value additions to the above initiatives and success of the same.
