As an MDP at the Bloomfield, CT plant, I participated in a manufacturing rotational program, learning and applying the best principles of operations management in each department. My rotations included production, engineering, systems & warehouse, maintenance, and quality. In addition to this on-site role, I followed a curriculum provided by our corporate talent development team, allowing me to work closely with my MDP cohort across the nation.

Upon being promoted to lab manager at OPIM Innovate, I became responsible for the management of the entire staff of lab assistants, lab specialists, and marketing personnel. I was also responsible for the significant hiring and training processes that take place as the lab expanded its capabilities and engagement.As a manager, I was responsible for coordinating the efforts of approximately 20 individuals (both physically and remotely) who all had unique skillsets and specialties. This includes the creation of thorough documentation, enactment of HR policies and procedures, and clear communication practices both internally and externally.

As a lab specialist at the OPIM Innovate emerging technologies laboratory, I was responsible for contributing to the collective goal of creating experiential learning opportunities for UConn students that they would not otherwise obtain in a traditional classroom setting. During my time in this position, I was specifically responsible for the content creation and maintenance of applied technologies and 3D technologies in the lab space. These assignments resulted in my extensive work in the fields of robotics, automated logistics, and drones to build out the applied technologies curriculum, as well as 3D printing, scanning, and modeling to build out the 3D technologies curriculum. I also spent a significant time working with X-reality technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and 360 degree video.Based on my skillsets in physical hardware repair and troubleshooting, I was also tasked with the majority of assembly, maintenance, and repair of lab equipment and technology, and acted as a consultant to UConn students, faculty & staff, and various organizations who required similar assistance. I also maintained responsibility for the marketing and promotion of our space and events using various forms of media such as Constant Contact, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

As an intern with Techtronic Industries, I took part in their Leadership Development Program which focused on operations, marketing, sales, and management. I specifically worked in the sales and merchandising of professional and consumer tool brands such as Milwaukee, Ryobi, Ridgid, and Empire, and maintained a strategic partnership with The Home Depot corporation.I was awarded for having the highest sales of any intern in the New York Metro area, and later learned that I had surpassed the sales of any other intern in The United States upon being invited to the Milwaukee Tool headquarters.
