Placing computer scientists, engineers, and other technologists to work with Members of Congress and Congressional Committees through our one-year Congressional Innovation Fellowship. Our express goal is to upskill Congress by serving as a recruiting pipeline and converting fellows into full-time staffing roles on Capitol Hill. To date, we have placed 75 fellows across the House and Senate with offices ranging from Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Rob Portman, Sen. Ron Wyden, Rep. Will Hurd, and others. In 2020, amid the pandemic, we launched the Congressional Digital Service Fellowship, a one-time effort to support Congress in addressing urgent digital capacity gaps while building proof of concept for a Congressional Digital Service. As a result of our work, in early 2022, the House of Representatives announced the launch of the House Digital Service (HDS), the first-ever digital services office in a legislature in the United States.
