Supervise the Religious Services Department and oversee all fiscal, institutional policy, and faith accommodation matters for the department. My primary duty is to ensure that the 1st Amendment Rights for inmates in regards to freedom of religion is provided at the prison. My secondary duty is provide a pastoral presence for 1000+ inmates and 300+ staff members. I also mentor and develop my staff to be professional and ethical with inmates and staff. Moreover, I work with the staff chaplains to develop and implement faith-based reentry programs that prepare the inmates to return home equipped to become healthy and complete productive members of society.I am the Protestant Pastor for the Protestant Community (English and Spanish). Every Sunday we average 220 for the English Service and 120 for the Spanish Service. Although it is within a prison setting, the church is a thriving community that meets the spiritual, emotional, and mental needs of the community. We have a Praise and Worship Ministry, Choir, and Liturgical Dance Ministry. We also have revivals, concerts, and special ministry events to prepare inmates for their eventual departure from the institution.I am currently the SME - Protestant Faith.

Staff Chaplain.Meet the religious accommodation needs for the faith groups under my management. Preach on a weekly basis for both Protestant and English communities.

Provided executive administration leadership for senior staff and support to the Senior Pastor and the Executive Committee in carrying out the vision and mission of the church. This included, but was not limited to using real time data and engaging in research (theological, political, social and educational); preaching and teaching; and participating in community events as needed.Lead associate pastors in developing their vision and mission statements to help them carryout the mission of the church.Served as proxy for the senior pastor as needed at joint board and church meetings.Created and implemented a New Member Orientation Program to help new members integrate into Shiloh's culture.Established a bi-weekly communication with members of the church and the community of Alexandria at-large using a web-based tool.Developed a Christian Education Certificate program that is taught twice a year to over thirty pastors in Soroti and Jinja, Uganda East Africa. Serve as a key leader in other aspects of mission ministry in Africa.

Researched and generated white papers on education, history, theology, philosophy, and public policy for sermonic and Bible Study lessons in support of Shiloh's mission.Researched, and evaluated various forms of scholarship to be used by the Senior Pastor in preparation and through the completion of his doctoral dissertation at the Ashland School of Theology at Ashland University in Ohio. Proofread every paper for scholarship content per syllabi requirement prior to submission by the Senior Pastor.

Developed a wholistic program to work with children whose parents are incarcerated.

Program Manager of the Mentoring for the Extended Angel Tree Program, Victim to Victory, Inc. A comprehensive mentoring incarcerated children program was developed based on mentoring best practices. Taught classes on financial literacy and grant writing to low income families. Over 35 single family led households that lived in Alexandria shelters attended the classes. Secured $7,500.00 financial literacy grant money to reach goals of the program.Worked closely with the Executive Staff of Victim to Victory, Inc. to identify, capture, and secure $211,000 in funding from the Corporation for National Community Service to develop staff members to complete their projects for the Extended Angel Tree Program.
