I am honored to be a Care Manager collaborating with families to enhance coordination of care, navigate transitions, and improve quality of life for loved ones. I hold a Master of Arts in Gerontology and I am a Consultant in Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care (PAC), a method that focuses on the strengths of those living with brain change and dementia, while providing support for their families and care partners. I also am a facilitator for the National Council on Aging's 'Aging Mastery Program' series.Throughout my career, I’ve connected people with purpose. In my earlier corporate and nonprofit management roles, I focused on educational program design, community partnerships, brand development, and communications. I held leadership positions with Ogilvy Public Relations, Edelman Worldwide, and Wired Magazine before becoming the Executive Director of Coastside Children’s Programs and GirlVentures, two nonprofits offering innovative education, health, and life enrichment programs. I was a Commissioner with First 5 San Mateo County, and have served on the Board of Directors for Thrive: the Alliance of Nonprofits for San Mateo County; Children’s Council San Francisco; and Alliance for Girls. As often as possible, I go to concerts, hike in the redwoods, and appreciate small kindnesses.
