I am an Estonian entrepreneur and digital transformation advocate. I am currently the founder and CEO of KOOS, where we are enabling communities to become co-owners of companies they love, creating a culture of shared success by issuing virtual shares.I started my career as a programmer and quickly rose to become the Managing Director of the largest software development company in the Baltics, WebMedia — now known as Nortal. Since then, I have worked both in the public and private sectors. I served as the first CIO for the Government of Estonia, where I oversaw the country's rapid development in the digital sector. This included co-founding the country's national e-residency program, the first of its kind globally, and working on initiatives such as data embassies and country-as-a-service (CAAS). I've also had the privilege of serving as a special advisor to the European Commission's Vice President, Andrus Ansip, on the European Single Digital Market. One of my most fulfilling ventures has been the establishment of a girls-only technology school Unicorn Squad in 2018. Fully funded by my family, this initiative has grown to include locations all over Estonia and has provided education in technology to over 2,200 girls. I am passionate about proving that there are no limitations to who can learn and excel in technology and that the obstacles often cited — a lack of teachers or funds, for instance — should not be excused.I'm focused on fostering a world where disruption is positive when the end user benefits from the new model. The benefits can range from convenience, personalization, cost, or efficiency. I'm also a firm believer that execution is everything and ideas are nothing without it. The challenges and experiences I've faced, including a battle with cancer at a young age, have shaped this philosophy and continue to drive my desire to improve the world through digital innovation.

Ceo & Co-FounderKoos.Io Apr 2022 - PresentViimsi, Harjumaa, EstoniaAt KOOS.io, we've built a platform that transforms the way businesses interact with their communities. By issuing virtual shares, we help to recognize and reward the contributions of fans, customers, and supporters to a company's growth. The process works by defining a business goal and the actions that will be rewarded with shares. A share pool is then set, and the platform tracks and manages the recorded actions, taking care of legal requirements. When the business goal is reached, payouts are made to those who contributed to the success. This model allows a new business model to form, where all the non-employee contributors can earn a significant stake in the company without changing the cap table.Since our launch in 2023, we've grown to a team of 18, developed two innovative products, and acquired 54 customers, proving that this new business model is not only viable but also beneficial for companies and their communities alike. -
