As a Senior IT Project Manager with Continued.com, I am also the Scrum Master for 2-3 development teams at a time. As an IT Project Manager with the State Information Technology Services Division (SITSD) my primary responsibility was to manage numerous enterprise-level IT projects. These projects were diverse in scope and required me to interact with many different groups within SITSD, the Department of Administration, and other agencies.The types of projects I managed include:- Working with SITSD's Application Technology Services Bureau (ATSB) to plan, configure, and deploy an Enterprise Data Portal as part of the governor's Transparency in Government Portal project.- The Enterprise Risk Assessment project, which consisted of assembling a multi-agency team, gathering requirements, issuing a Contractor Engagement Proposal for project resourcing, managing the execution of activities, and coordinating the delivery of the final report and presentation.- Upgrading SITSD's service request and incident management system (POB).- Migrating the Department of Corrections and Department of Labor and Industry's virtual environments to the Virtual Server Platform.- Scrum Master on the myCoal development project for the Department of Environmental Quality.- ATSB's customer liaison for the Economic Development Office's Site Selector development project.- ATSB's customer liaison for the Department of Justice's SVOR Email Notification System development project.This position required me to exhibit excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. In my role as Systems Development Bureau Chief, I managed 11 employees, including 3 web developers, 6 application developers, an applications coach, and the EDFacts Coordinator. My team was funded from 6 different accounting codes, so I closely monitored those budgets so they did not exceed them.I provided budget estimates to the IT Division Administrator for hardware and software needs, created and managed contracts, reviewed RFPs and selected vendors, as well as hired new employees and contractors through the Contractor Engagement Proposal (CEP) process.
